Campaign Update 4/26/11

So we're finally converted over to www.ourbattletech.com/hexare and things are in full swing.  I just wanted to give a brief update as to how far we've come over the course of the year and some change we've been playing.

Starting on Hexare, we've liberated (check out the sweet map): http://ourbattletech.com/obt-downloads/Hexare_Grenadiers_Operation_Thunderstrike.pdf

All the AAR's have been reformatted and reposted on OBT.  We've also started a 4 mission sequence on Warlock, which has been very interesting.  Heavy snow really changes the dynamics of the game.  Anyway, we will start having those report going up over the next few weeks.

Hexare Grenadiers' Campaign Website is Now Live

Those of you who've followed us along on this journey will be pleased to know that we've completed our transition over to http://www.ourbattletech.com/ and have our own site at www.ourbattletech.com/hexare.
Please come check it out for unit profiles, detailed maps of the campaign zone, and a slew of other goodies.

I also want to take time out to thank Knightmare, the propietor of OCT.com, without his amazing help and support, it wouldn't be possible.  Thanks again Knightmare!

Light 'Mech Tactics Article - Check it Out!

I just posted up a brand new article on Light 'Mech Tactics, specifically related to high speed 'Mechs moving around 7/11 and higher.  Pretty detailed and in-depth discussion on how to use these types of units.  Give it read, it should stimulate some good thought and discussion.

Check the article out at: http://ourbattletech.com/2011/03/tactics-discussion-light-mech-usage/

Moving to www.ourbattletech.com!

Hello all!  I wanted to let everyone know that I'm partnering with Knightmare and Blacknova at http://www.ourbattletech.com/.  The blog will continue through Texlos as I begin to set up and transfer the materials over to the new website.  This is pretty exciting as I will now have a dedicated forum for discussion on mission and after action reports as well as some of my tactical articles.  I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that the transition is beginning to take place.  I'll let you all know as things progress!

Please check out http://www.ourbattletech.com/!  It's a great resource for those of you would want to get involved in fan projects related to the BattleTech universe.  The idea is to build a community, similar to that of Sarna.net in which groups of fans band together to create and explore everything there is to be offered in BattleTech.  Check out the various projects that are in progress over there!
